1964 220

1965 121

This 121 is owned by Brett Blakemore of Portland, OR USA. Brett bought this car from a neighbour December of 2008. It's a 1965 Volvo "Canadian" (121), which still has the original Golden Yellow (also called Desert Sand) exterior color and tan interior as pictured. Came from Canada about 5 years ago. True chassis mileage is unknown. Rebuilt the entire drive train (engine/manual trans/rear end), swapping out the B18A (single carb 1.8L) with a B20B (dual carb 2.0L), however still with original gen (which will have adapted alt soon for reliability purposes). Has 4-2-1 ceramic coat headers w/ 2 ¼" exhaust, fuel tank replacement, & H4 e-code euro-spec headlights w/ relay kit. Interior nearly all original including Volvo OEM radio, original seats and floor covering. Brett have added an original "optional equipment" dash mounted Volvo Smiths tach, start button as well as a mechanical brake light switch for more reliability over the original brake pressure switch.

Brett also added IPD poly suspension bushings, staggered offset 17" x 7" w/ 205/50/17 tires (front) & 17" x 8" (rear) AR Torqlite w/ 215/50/17 tires, as well as OEM mudflaps .

It's not in perfect shape, needs only just a little TLC cosmetically, but runs great, and it's mine, driven daily.
